As of October 2012, The Children’s Museum of Alamance County is now open full time and operating for the public. We encourage you and your family to come in for a visit to explore and make memories. You’ll be a part of a unique opportunity to play and create together in an environment that can help promote creativity and discovery through hands on learning. The museum joins a family friendly community interested in providing education and cultural arts to their children. Our 14,000 square feet facility features eight interactive exhibits: Building Zone, Health Center, My Own Backyard, Science Adventure, The Lucky Climber, Artists’ Workshop, Wobble and Roll, and Then and Now. In addition to our everyday exhibits, we also offer educational programs and activities, birthday parties and whole facility rentals. We’d like to thank the Hayden-Harman Foundation for their initial 2007 grant and for all of their generosity and perseverance in helping actively start the museum.
We are located at 217 South Main Street in Graham, North Carolina (right behind the Alamance County Arts Council) and are proud to be a part of a community rich with heritage and striving to be one that sees the importance of culture, education and family.
CMAC Mini Summer Camp Sign Up Has Begun!
Colorpalooza! Art Camp, June 11th-13th
Students will experiment with different materials for an abstract painting lesson, get
their hands dirty with paper mache and experience loads of color during our tye dye
t-shirt and lava lamp making fun!

Yummy in my Tummy! Toddler Camp, July 9th-11th

This mini camp is all about yummy goodies!
We'll be experimenting with oatmeal clay, painting with potatoes and making pretend
spaghetti!
This camp focuses on colors and textures and is a great way to expose your
child to Intro Arts and Crafts.
Ages 2-4, $35 Members, $50 Non Members (Cost pays for one toddler, one adult)

"Art Around the World" Performing Arts Camp, July 23rd-25th
10:30-12:30 PM (Last 10 minutes of each day are for the camp's performances for
the parents)
Music camp with Ms. Lara from KidTunes, Dance Camp with Ms. Miranda from
CMAC and Theater Camp with Ms. Nancy from Alamance Children's Theater

For an extra fee of $25, you may drop your child off for any of our camps (except the Yummy in my Tummy! Toddler Camp) at 9 AM for museum play time before camp time starts. Since our camp structure this year is "mini", we thought it might be nice to offer
some parents a little extra "errand" time in addition to the actual camp time.
